you can count on it! Tell Pam I said hi, and see/read you soon!

  2. Finally made it home to Sacramento at about 1:15 AM this morning.....28 hours after leaving our apartment on Saturday morning in Amsterdam for Schiphol Airport......the "fun" of international travel.:morning:

Here are some final photos from our last day of vacation in Amsterdam on Friday. I almost got run over many times by the bicyclists that seem to be everywhere in the streets of Amsterdam...probably my fault...but found out that "flower power" even happens in Amsterdam.

We both thought the graphics on the urinal sign were nicely done.....didn't see any similar signs for women however.....?

Finally, and best of all, was the "beer bike". These guys were going down one of the main streets at about 6 mph (10 kph), holding up traffic, talking, laughing, drinking beer, all the while pedaling the "beer bike"....would love to do this after one of our podiatry conferences.....maybe next Belgian conference, Ken??

Thanks again for a great seminar!!

We have those in Belgium as well, so remind me again when we organize our next conference! have to say that Amsterdam is just a 'tiny bit' more flat compared with Ghent. :drinks

Good to see you got home. 28 hours... :bash:

Your nice pictures show you and Pam had a lovely time here. Hope you feel like flying over again one day - say march 2017 ;) or so?

I can't remember where the diagram with the frontal plane section through the heel and rear section of an orthosis showing normal (from orthoses surface geometry) force, lateral to medial shear force (from friction from orthosis cover) and resultant ORF is.
    Any directions appreciated, mark
