In 2025, The Roger A. Mann Award was bestowed upon Belayney et. al. for developing a classification system for the Progressive Collapsing Foot Deformity, a deformity I first discovered and published on in 2002, naming it the PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity.

Since 2021, innumerable papers have been published on the PCFD. Not one of those publications cite my 2002 paper!

Since 2002, I have generated challenges on this forum regarding my research on Rothbarts Foot and the PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity. Mostly not favorable, disputing the existence of these foot structures.

I must admit that I am disappointed. I spent many years in research that culminated in my discovery of these two embryological foot structures, only to be totally ignored by my orthopedic peers.

Such is life. But at least, on this forum, the truth is known.
