    An exciting opportunity exists for a Health Manager to join a dynamic team at Royal North Shore Hospital as part of the Executive Team.

    Where you'll be working
    The position is located at RNSH at St Leonard’s.

    What you'll be doing
    The Director AH and CS has primary responsibility for operational and strategic management of the Directorate Services. The Director is responsible to ensure all departments provide high quality services with safe, efficient and effective use of resources

    Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
    1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
    2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related field (e.g. nursing, management, Allied Health) or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
    3. Knowledge and/or experience in the implementation of Primary Care principles and demonstrated comprehensive understanding of service delivery within acute and community based health settings.
    4. Proven ability to provide strategic and operational leadership at a senior level across a large and diverse range of services.
    5. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of methodology in clinical governance, continuous improvement, quality initiatives and risk management.
    6. Demonstrated ability to forge partnerships with senior colleagues and develop networks and partnerships both internal and external to the organisation.
    7. High level communication, leadership, change management and negotiation skills.
    8. Current NSW drivers licence.
