Anyone tried sandals that actually help with bunions or foot pain?

I think a bunion is starting to form on my left foot. The pain’s been getting worse, so I went to the doctor and she told me to start wearing podiatrist recommended sandals with good support.

One of my friends tried Aerothotic sandals and said they really helped her, but I’m still a bit confused. Do these kinds of sandals actually make a difference? Has anyone here tried them for bunions or heel pain?

Would really appreciate some honest opinions.

    Hey!
I’ve been in a similar situation, and I know how uncomfortable early-stage bunion pain can get. It’s great that your doctor recommended supportive sandals—honestly, they can make a bigger difference than you might expect.
I haven’t tried Aerothotic personally, but I’ve heard good things from people in my circle who deal with bunions and heel pain. What really matters is the arch support, cushioning, and especially a wide toe box to reduce pressure on the bunion area. If the sandals check those boxes, they're definitely worth a try.

When my bunion started getting worse, I looked into bunion treatment in Palmdale (where I’m based), and even the podiatrist emphasized how crucial supportive footwear is in slowing progression and easing daily discomfort.

If you’re not ready for anything invasive, starting with proper sandals is a smart move. Hope you find something that works for you!
